The critical place is an attempt to invert viewer from the passive, into the active, critical and aware spectator. Relating to the artworks in the individual way is the way to change the meaning of the value, from materialistic, into the personal, original meaning. Variety of individual, critical responses is effecting more diverse understanding of the art world and evoke new debates about the culture of contemporary world. In the world being constantly globalised, the urgent need for the distinctive places, free of consumption and full of individuality is constantly rising.
The aim of this place is to connect people from around the world, interested in perception, museology and art curation. By collecting perspectives on different spaces and places connected to art, I am willing to raise the critical approach from viewers and spread awareness about the importance of each artwork context.
“Let this place be critical and open for discussions between people who share the passion for art.”
