Between 2022 - 2023 as the Ackroyd&Harvey’s assistant I got an opportunity to take care of 150 trees from the Beuys’ Acorns - an open-ended research project initiated in 2007 when the artists germinated hundreds of acorns collected from Joseph Beuys’s seminal artwork 7000 Oaks: City Forestation not City Administration. In 2021, one hundred Beuys’ Acorns trees were exhibited at Tate Modern to commemorate Beuys’s centennial and Tate’s declaration of climate emergency. In 2024 they initiated the next phase – the Prelude & the Planting planting circles of seven trees in partnership with cultural centres and borough councils.
I have also assisted on the making project of the grass coat for The Horror Show! (exhibition at the Somerset House 2022/2023 co-curated by Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard and Claire Catterall) and the Poems For Our Planet for the Planet Summer at Southbank Centre in 2023.
